  21. Due to personal financial hardships I find myself
  22. in the unenviable position of trying to get back a
  23. fraction of what I paid for this program.

  25. My retailer refuses returns on 'opened' software,
  26. even if I haven't installed the package. Microsoft
  27. couldn't care less about my situation, and
  28. numerous pleas for an exception to their return
  29. policy have fallen on deaf ears.

  31. Believe it or not, I need this money more than any
  32. program, and I thought someone could at least
  33. benefit from this awkward situation.

  35. To clarify, this is a store-bought full retail package
  36. which contains 2 cd's (unopened), a license agreement
  37. and manual, and includes the full versions of WORD and
  38. EXCEL (versions 7.0) POWERPOINT, SCHEDULE,
  39. ACCESS and BOOKSHELF. This is a stand alone
  40. product and not an upgrade (you don't need older
  41. versions to run it).

  43. It was my intention to put these programs on a shelf
  44. somewhere until I needed them, but I do not have
  45. that luxury. My resources are extremely limited and
  46. I am at the point where this is the only responsible
  47. thing to do. I'm just hoping there is someone out there
  48. who can use these programs.
